Carbonara Sauce

I can't remeber where I got this from but it is beautiful and rich and creamy.

• Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

• 1  onion, chopped
• 1  garlic, crushed
• 4  slices prosciutto
• 2  eggs
• 300  ml  cream
•  salt and pepper
• 1⁄2 cup parmesan cheese
• 500  g pasta

Directions

1. Sauté onion, garlic and prosciutto.
2. Mix cream, eggs and S&P together.
3. Mix all together and bring to boil. Add parmesan and stir until melted.
4. Mix in cooked pasta and serve with parmesan.
