Caramelized Vidalia Onion Topping

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cups sliced vidalia onions
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 8 kalamata olives, sliced
- 1⁄3 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- 1 loaf plain focaccia bread
Directions
- In saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until softened, but not browned.
- Add vinegar and stir well. Spread over prepared focaccia.
- Sprinkle remaining ingredients over the onions.
