Ingredients

  • 12  Anjou pear, a whole pineapple cut in cubes (6 - 1 1/2 inch cubes)
  • 1  tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1  tablespoon butter
  • 1  cardamom pod, crushed

Directions

  1. Place pineapple on a flat surface and pierce skewers. Lightly coat the top with brown sugar.
  2. In a skillet, combine butter and cardamom and melt over medium heat. Add skewers, brown sugar side down, and cook until caramelized, about 2 minutes.
