Caramel Popcorn

Yields: 8 quarts
Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup butter
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup nuts
- 8 quarts popped corn
Directions
- in a small saucepan, combine sugar, syrup and butter. Bring to boil and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- stir in baking soda, salt, vanilla and nuts. Pour over popcorn. Mix well.
- bake @ 225 degrees F for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
