Caramel Crispix Deliciousness

a caramely spin on puppy chow for lots of room for ingredient addition/changing

Ingredients

•  brown paper bag
• 1  cup butter
• 2  cups brown sugar
• 1⁄2 cup  Karo syrup
• 12  ounces  Crispix cereal
•  pretzel
•  peanuts
•  cashews
• 24  ounces  M&M's

Directions

1. bring butter, brown sugar and karo syrup to a boil in a sauce pan.
2. boil 1.5 minutes, stirring constantly.
3. spray grocery bag with pam.
4. put next four ingredients in grocery bag.
5. pour liquid mixture over ingredients.
6. fold bag closed; microwave on high for 1.5 minutes; remove and stir.
7. repeat microwave/stirring for 4.5 minutes.
8. spread on wax paper, let cool.
9. add M&M's.
