Caramel Bread Pudding

I love my bread machine! It's great to come home from work on a cold winter day and smell fresh bread baking. Unfortunately since there are no preservatives in fresh baked bread, I was always throwing out stale bread to the birds. This recipe is a great way to use all that stale bread and it is definately NOT for the birds! Show more

Directions

  1. Place bread in a greased 2 quart baking dish.
  2. Combine water and brown sugar; pour over bread.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over bread.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 50- 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. Serve warm or cold.
