Caramel Apple French Toast

Ingredients
- 2 granny smith apples
- 8 slices French bread
- 3 eggs
- 1 1⁄2 cups coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 3⁄4 cup butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 cup heavy cream
Directions
- slice apples leave skin on.
- sautee apples in 1/2 cup brown sugar.
- mix: eggs and coconut milk.
- add -- vanilla,and cinnamon.
- dredge french bread in batter and fry in butter until golden --.
- place apples on french toast --.
- drizzle caramel sauce on top --.
- for the carmel sauce;.
- 3/4 cup butter.
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar.
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup heavy cream.
- melt butter,sugar, and salt.
- bring to boil.
- remove from heat add:
- vanilla cream.
- serve warm.
- dust with ground macadaima nuts -- .
