Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
- 4 sweet potatoes
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄2 cup sherry wine
Directions
- Scrub and boil potatoes until tender, 20-30 minutes. Peel and cut in slices. Put into a buttered baking dish in layers with a little brown sugar over each layer. Dot each layer with butter and a little sherry. Bake in a 350* oven for 30 minutes.
