Canadian Bacon-Cheese Pockets

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. On lightly floured surface, roll each biscuit into a 4" circle; prick half of the circles decoratively with fork.
  3. Divide bacon, cheese, and mustard evenly among 5 (not pricked) circles leaving a 1/2" border. Trim cheese to fit, if necessary.
  4. Top with 5 pricked biscuit rounds; press edges with fork to seal completely.
  5. Brush top with egg yolk.
  6. Bake 12 minutes or until golden.
  7. Meanwhile, melt butter in 10" skillet over medium heat; add apple slices and cook turning once, until golden, about 8 minutes.
  8. Serve Pockets together with apple slices.
