Directions

  1. Thaw bread dough.
  2. Peel and shred garlic cloves and put them in a medium sauce pan with a lid. Add oil and turn to medium heat.
  3. When garlic is a golden brown, add sauce and paste. Stir well, reduce heat, cover, and let simmer while you work on the rest of this.
  4. Crisco up two large pizza pans. Spread the dough out on each of them.
  5. On half of each, add your cheese and pepperoni and anything else. Don't go overboard, as it can explode out when you slice it and be a hot cheesy mess.
  6. Fold the blank half over the toppings and twist the edges to keep everything inches.
  7. Preheat oven to 450. I do these one at a time to ensure proper cooking times on both.
  8. Put one in for six minutes, flip, then put it in for another 4-5 minutes. Do the same with the other calzone.
  9. Add spices to your sauce. Keep adding until it tastes awesome-- don't be afraid to taste-test!
  10. Slice calzones up like pizza sticks and dip them in sauce. Epic.
