Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1⁄2 cup mushroom
- 1⁄2 prosciutto ham
- 1⁄2 cup salami
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 1⁄2 teaspoon basil
- 3⁄4 cup mozzarella cheese
- salt
- pepper
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
Directions
- First you need to make your favorite bread recipe or use frozen Rhodes rolls that have been thawed. Heat oil . Mince onion and garlic. Chop mushrooms. Saute onion, garlic and mushrooms. Chop prosciutto ham and salami. You could use other meats beside these but I would recommend using the salami. Add rest of ingredients and cook stirring being careful not to scorch cheese. Set aside. Roll dough into 5 inch circles and spoon 2 tablespoons filling onto dough and fold over sealing edges and using last 2 ingredients brushing with a wash of the egg and 1 tablespoon of water. Bake 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
