California Sangria

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 (750 ml) bottle dry red wine
  • 2  ounces brandy
  • 2  tablespoons sugar
  • 1  lemon, sliced
  • 1  orange, sliced
  • 1  cup  fresh sliced  peaches, pears, plums or 1  cup  other fresh seasonal  fruit

Directions

  1. Combine wine, brandy and sugar in pitcher.
  2. Add fruit.
  3. Let stand in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  4. Serve with or without ice.
