Cajun French Toast

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup evaporated milk
- 4 slices white bread
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons shortening
Directions
- Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
- Add milk and stir.
- Dip slice of bread in mixture and put in hot, oiled skillet.
- Cook two at a time, if possible.
- Brown each side.
- When done, add another batch and add shortening.
