Cajun Dressing

A really different stuffing or dressing for your turkey. It is rice based

Ingredients

• 1  lb  hot bulk pork sausage
• 1  small onion, chopped
• 1  small green pepper, chopped
• 1 1⁄2 stalks celery, chopped
• 1 (1 1/4ounce) envelope  instant  chicken noodle soup mix
• 1  cup  uncooked long grain rice
• 3  cups water

Directions

1. Brown sausage in a Dutch oven, stirring to crumble; drain. Add remaining ingredients, and stir well.
2. Place mixture in a lightly greased 12-x8-x 2 inch baking dish. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until moisture is absorbed.
