Cabbage Casserole

Directions

  1. Shred cabbage.
  2. Cook 5-8 minutes in salted water. Keep the cabbage crisp.
  3. Mix butter with bread crumbs and set aside.
  4. Drain cabbage.
  5. Layer half the cabbage in a 2 quart baking dish.
  6. Cover with half the white sauce and half the cheese.
  7. Repeat layer.
  8. Top with bread crumbs.
  9. Bake 15-20 minutes at 300°.
