Buttery Pecan Date Spread

Ingredients
- 1⁄3 cup butter or 1⁄3 cup margarine, softened
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1⁄4 cup dates, finely chopped
- 1⁄4 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sherry wine or 1 tablespoon apple juice
Directions
- in small mixer bowl combine the cream cheese, beat at med speed, scraping bowl often until well mixed.
- by hand stir in remaining ingredients.
- serve with crackers or nut bread.
- store refrigerated.
