Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1⁄4 cups flour
- 2 cups oats
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar or 1⁄2 cup powdered sugar
Directions
- Mix brown sugar, butter, shortening, vanilla and eggs.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except sugar.
- Shape dough into 1" balls; roll in sugar.
- Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes on greased cookie sheets.
