Fudgy Butterscotch Brownies

Yields: 1 nine x thirteen inch pan
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons shortening
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1⁄2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
- Cream shortening and sugar, add the rest in given order.
- Grease a 9" x 13" baking pan.
- Pour batter into pan, and bake 25 minutes.
- Cool for 10 minutes and then cut into squares.
