Butternut Squash in Wine

  1. Wash and clean seeds from squash. Place in baking pan, cut side up. Melt butter and pour into squash, sprinkle flesh with brown sugar and add wine, cloves and seasonings. Stir mixture. Cover squash and bake at 350F until flesh is tender [probably 45 minutes]. Garnish with lemon slices and serve hot.
