Buttermilk Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 4 eggs, one at a time
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
- Add and mix well all of the dry ingredients.
- Add oll of the other ingredients one at a time and mix well.
- Pour into a greased and floured tube pan
- Bake at 325* for 1 hours.
- When cake is cool Ice with your favorite glaze.
