Buttermilk Oven Fried Chicken

  1. Place cut up chicken or pieces of your choice in a zip top bag.
  2. Add buttermilk and Tabasco and marinate 1 hour or up to overnight.
  3. Heat oven to 400 degrees and spread the olive oil on an sheet pan.
  4. Mix together the fresh breadcrumbs, parmesan, thyme and pepper together.
  5. Create a dredging station.
  6. Using tongs remove chicken from buttermilk and roll in the breadcrumb mixture. Place on the prepared sheet pan.
  7. Bake 35- 40 minutes.
