Buttermilk Cornbread

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1⁄2 cup cornmeal
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder, heaping
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg
- 3⁄4 cup buttermilk
Directions
- Melt butter in cast iron skillet.
- Combine all dry ingredients.
- Beat in egg and buttermilk.
- Fold in melted butter from skillet.
- Pour into skillet and bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
