Buttercream Frosting

Yields: 1 cake decorated
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup Crisco
- 2 tablespoons butter (softened)
- 1 lb powdered sugar (4 cups)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄3 cup milk
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons clear vanilla
- 1⁄2 teaspoon almonds (optional)
Directions
- Beat all ingredients together until smooth. If using to frost a cake, add extra milk to think it. For decorating, do not thin.
