  1. Have butter at room temperature. Combine butter, sifted icing sugar, sifted flour and lemon juice, with and electric beater; beat on low speed to combine all the ingredients, increase speed to medium and beat for 10 minutes.
  2. Spoon the mixture into a large piping bag fitted with a star shaped tube. Pipe small stars on lightly greased oven trays.
  3. Cook in a moderate oven for 10 - 15 minutes or until golden.
  4. Stand on tray for a few minutes.
  5. Cool on a wire rack.
