Butter Cookies

Yields: 16-18 cookies
Ingredients
- 2 cups butter
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1⁄4 cups sugar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
- Soften the butter with beaters.
- Mix the all-purpose flour,sugar, and baking soda, in with the softened butter.
- Spray your baking pan with Pam or cover it with butter.
- Fill up an ice cream scoop; put it on the cookie tray; flatten down a little bit with your hand.
- Bake the cookies for at least 8 to 10 minutes.
- Note: Another way to find out if your cookies are done is by taking a spatula and lifting the cookie up; if it is golden over the bottom it is done.
