Ready In: 30 mins
Serves: 10-12
Yields: 10-12 biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 cups Bisquick
- 2⁄3 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick of butter)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Pour Bisquick into a large bowl.
- While still firm cut 1/4 cup (or half a stick) of butter, and set aside the remainder of stick, this will be melted later to top the biscuits.
- Cut 1/4 cup of butter in small pieces and mix into Bisquick until coated.
- Add milk and mix until dough is formed.
- Dust surface with Bisquick and place dough on dusted surface and roll or pat dough to about a 1/2 inch thickness.
- Use a cutter, or if you do not have one (like me) use a circular drinking glass to cut out biscuits from dough.
- Place biscuits on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 9 minutes.
- After removing from oven immediately top biscuits with melted butter from the remainder of the stick.
- Enjoy.
