Budgeted Tuna Salad Sandwich

Well, we all don't have that much time or that much money, so, this will have to do! A great quick sandwich that I have eaten... a lot. I suggest putting the extra tuna mix into your fridge. Show more

Serves: 4

Yields: 4 sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 3 (6 ounce) cans tuna
  • 4  tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 12 teaspoon  celery salt
  • 1  teaspoon  onion salt
  • 8  slices  bread (seeded rye preferred)
  • 8  lettuce leaves (iceberg preferred, crunchy texture preferred)

Directions

  1. Open tuna cans.
  2. Drain the liquid from the tuna cans.
  3. Put the tuna together in a container.
  4. Add the mayonnaise.
  5. Add the celery salt.
  6. Add the onion salt.
  7. Toast 2 slices of bread.
  8. While the bread is toasting, mix the ingredients together. Make sure that the tuna is broken down as much as possible.
  9. Wash the lettuce leaves.
  10. Spread the tuna-mayo mix onto both slices of bread.
  11. Put one lettuce leaf atop each slice of bread.
  12. Put the two piece of bread together.
  13. Eat up!
  14. Repeat as necessary to make more sandwiches.
