Buddy's Meatballs

Buddy's is a famous pizza place in Detroit. They are known for their deep dish pizza. Their meatballs are delicious; they serve them as an appetizer in marinara sauce with lots of melted cheese on top.

Ingredients

• 1  lb ground beef
• 1⁄2 lb  ground veal
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1  egg
• 1  garlic clove
• 1  small onion
• 1⁄2 stalk celery
• 1⁄4 cup  oil
• 3  slices  bread, soaked in
• 1⁄4 cup milk
• 1  tablespoon  chopped parsley

Directions

1. Chop and fry celery, onion and parsley together in oil.
2. Mix together beef, veal, salt, egg, garlic and soaked bread. Add fried onion, celery, parsley mix.
3. Roll 2 oz. balls and brown in a hot skillet then bake at 375°F for 1/2 hours.
