Bubbly Baked Tomatoes

Different from the others and so easy. From "A Class Act," Millburn High School cookbook. This is like putting a dip inside a tomato and broiling it until it bubbles! I would bake and then broil the top but I put in the recipe as written. Show more

  1. Cut the tomatoes crosswise and cut out the core.
  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl and spoon onto each tomato. Place on a broiler pan.
  3. Broil slowly until bubbly. Remove with spatula and serve.
