Bruce's BBQ Rub (circa l993)

I have not tried this recipe but posted it in answer to a request - sounds great. The recipe was a high scorer in a BBQ Rub competition

• Ready In: 15 mins
• Yields: 2 cups

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup light brown sugar
• 1⁄2 cup white vinegar
• 1⁄4 cup seasoning salt
• 1⁄4 cup onion powder
• 1⁄4 cup paprika
• 2  tablespoons pepper
• 2  tablespoons chili powder
• 2  teaspoons dry mustard
• 1  teaspoon poultry seasoning
• 1  teaspoon thyme
• 1  teaspoon tarragon
• 1  teaspoon ginger
• 1⁄2 teaspoon allspice

Directions

1. Place all the ingredients in a resealable large zip lock bag, seal it.
2. Shake and tumble the mixture until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
3. Make sure that the tarragon& thyme are finely crushed before mixing in.
