Ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup butter
- 1 3⁄4 cups sugar
- 1⁄2 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 3⁄4 cup flour
- 5⁄8 cup cocoa powder
- 3⁄8 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 cup pecans
- 3⁄4 cup caramel
Directions
- Combine sugar with melted butter and vanilla. Cream well with whisk (no mixer needed).
- Add eggs gradually to creamed mix and mix well.
- Sift flour and cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt together.
- Add flour mixture to egg mixture, whisk to incorporate.
- Add pecan and caramel bites.
- Pour on a lined (or greased and floured) 1/2 sheet pan or square cake pan.
- Bake 18-20 minutes @ 350.
- Cool before cutting.
