Browned Rice Oregano

Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon
- 1 1⁄2 cups rice, uncooked
- 2 (10 1/2ounce) cans beef broth
- 1 large onion, chopped, about 1 1/2 cups
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed, crushed
Directions
- Fry the bacon until crisp, drain and crumble.
- Reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings and add the rice to the drippings, heating and stirring until well browned.
- Add broth, onions, spices and bacon and cover and cook 15 minutes.
