  1. In a small bowl combine the oats, flours, baking soda, salt and sugar.
  2. In another small bowl, beat the egg, oil and buttermilk.
  3. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Pour batter by 1/3 cupful onto a greased hot griddle. Turn when bubbles form on top; cook until the second side is golden brown.
