- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 2 stiff-beaten egg whites
Directions
- Cook sugar, water to soft-ball stage (236º).
- Gradually add to whites, beating until mixture forms peaks.
- Frosts tops, sides of two 8-inch lager cake.
