Brown Sugar Drops

Growing up my these were my favorite cookies that my mother would make for us. They are great.

• Yields: 72 cookies

Ingredients

• 1  cup  Crisco
• 2  cups brown sugar
• 2  eggs
• 1⁄2 cup water or 1⁄2 cup buttermilk
• 3 1⁄2 cups flour
• 1  teaspoon baking soda
• 1  teaspoon salt

Directions

1. Mix first four ingredents together well.
2. Add dry ingredents mix well.
3. Cover and Chill for one hour.
4. Roll into small balls or drop by spoon onto greased cookie sheet.
5. Bake in 400 oven for 8-10 minutes.
