Brown Sugar Brownies

I started making this recipe when I was in college. We found it a treat then and now.

• Serves: 24

Ingredients

• 1  cup margarine or 1  cup butter, melted (2 sticks)
• 2  cups light brown sugar
• 2  eggs
• 2  cups flour
• 2  teaspoons baking powder
• 2  teaspoons vanilla
• 1  cup  nuts (optional)

Directions

1. Mix the ingredients together.
2. Pour into a greased 13x9 pan (or one that was sprayed with Pam.) Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min.
