Brown Gravy Meatloaf

I have never cared for meatloaf - that is until I discovered that it does NOT have to have ketchup smeared on top!! Show more

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 2  lbs ground beef (I prefer a leaner cut like ground sirlon or chuck)
  • 2  eggs
  • 1  cup seasoned croutons
  • 2 (1 1/4ounce) packages  brown gravy mix (My favorite is made by Knorr)

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients by smooshing them together with your hands - messy, but necessary.
  2. Bake at 350 F approximately 1 hour. Meat should be fully done in center.
  3. Hide the ketchup from the traditionalists.
