Brown Butter Icing Cookies

I like this cookie because it is out of the ordinary. They are a melt in your mouth type cookie with a very tasty brown butter icing. Show more

  1. Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Lastly add the sour cream and mix.
  2. Cook at 375 F for 7-10 minutes
  3. Icing directions.
  4. Put butter in sauce pan and stir well until it goes brown.
  5. Take off heat
  6. Add icing sugar, vanilla and water.
  7. Beat for about 10 minutes or until the butter does not separate anymore.
  8. Ice cookies after they are cooled.
  9. The icing will slightly harden on top but stay soft on the inside.
