Brown Butter Icing Cookies

Ingredients
cookie dough
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1⁄4 cups flour
- 1 cup sour cream
icing
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla (or more if you like)
- 2 -4 tablespoons hot water
Directions
- Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Lastly add the sour cream and mix.
- Cook at 375 F for 7-10 minutes
- Icing directions.
- Put butter in sauce pan and stir well until it goes brown.
- Take off heat
- Add icing sugar, vanilla and water.
- Beat for about 10 minutes or until the butter does not separate anymore.
- Ice cookies after they are cooled.
- The icing will slightly harden on top but stay soft on the inside.
