Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 (24 ounce) package  Simply Potatoes Traditional Mashed Potatoes
  • 4  tablespoons butter
  • 10  large sage leaves, chopped (14 if small)
  • 12 cup  grated parmesan cheese
  • 1  large lemon

Directions

  1. Cook the potatoes in the microwave per the instructions on the package.
  2. While they are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Melt the butter until it turns brown.
  3. Once brown, add the sage and stir for 30 second to blend the flavors.
  4. Add the mashed potatoes and parmesan into the saucepan and blend thoroughly with the brown butter sage sauce.
  5. Squeeze in the juice from the lemon and stir. Remove from heat and serve immediately. Delicious!
