Breakfast Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients

  • 12 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy; natural, reduced-fat, or regular)
  • 12 cup  nonfat dry milk powder
  • 14 cup honey
  • 12-34 cup  flake  cereal (oat, corn, bran, or other flakes)
  • 14 cup raisins
  •  powdered sugar (optional)

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix peanut butter, dry milk powder, and honey until smooth.
  2. Crush cereal by placing in plastic bag and crushing with rolling pin or by hand.
  3. Add raisins and crushed cereal to peanut butter mixture.
  4. Mix thoroughly.
  5. With your hands, form into balls the size of a nickel.
  6. Roll in, or sprinkle with, powdered sugar, if desired.
  7. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
