Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄4 cup brandy
- 1 teaspoon real vanilla
Directions
- Mix dry ingredients and then stir them into a cup of boiling water.
- Boil for 5 minutes and then add butter, brandy, and vanilla.
- Serve hot over mince pie or gingerbread.
