Brandied Strawberries

  1. In a large saucepan, combine sugar and water. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Stir in strawberries and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in brandy.
  4. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
  5. Serve with cake or ice cream.
