Bran Muffins (Pre-1940's)

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 3 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups natural bran
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted fat (butter)
- 1 1⁄2 cups milk (sweet)
Directions
- Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder.
- Blend with bran and add dry ingredients.
- Add the milk beaten egg suagr and butter (fat).
- Have a thick but a moist batter.
- Grease a muffin pan.
- Bake 30 minutes.
