Bourbon Beef Sandwiches

Serves: 3-4

Ingredients

  • 1  cup catsup
  •  6 tablespoons  steak sauce
  • 34 cup chutney
  • 34 cup chili sauce
  • 14 teaspoon  hot pepper sauce
  • 12 cup Bourbon
  • 1  tablespoon butter
  • 1  tablespoon  vegetable oil
  • 1  lb  thinly sliced  round steak
  • 3 -4  french bread  rolls, halved

Directions

  1. Combine first 7 ingredients in large bowl. Cover sauce and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Pour sauce into saucepan. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
  3. Melt butter with oil in large skillet over high heat. Add meat in batches and brown well. Add meat to sauce and stir until heated through. Spoon onto rolls. Serve immediately. Pass remaining sauce separately.
