Boston Baked Beans Mix in a Jar

• Yields: 2 cups mix

Ingredients

• 2  cups  small  white pea beans
• 1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme
• 1  whole bay leaf
• 1⁄4 teaspoon ground ginger
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt

Directions

1. Mix above ingredients and attach the following instructions on gift jar:.
2. BOSTON BAKED BEANS.
3. 1 jar Boston Baked Beans mix.
4. 2 slices bacon, diced.
5. 4 3/4 cup water.
6. 3/4 cup chopped onion.
7. 1 garlic clove, minced.
8. 3 tbls dark molasses.
9. 2 tbls mustard.
10. combine all ingredients in a crockpot. Cook on LOW in crockpot for 10-12 hours, or at 300* F in oven, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
11. Makes 8-10 servings.
