Blueberry Pancakes

Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1⁄2 cups buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon allspice
- 2 tablespoons melted shortening
- 1 cup blueberries
Directions
- Combine egg, buttermilk and vanilla; beat until well blended.
- Sift dry ingredients together. Add to egg mixture along with melted shortening and beat until smooth.
- Stir in blueberries. Pour batter onto heated griddle. Cook until full of bubbles and brown. Turn and brown other side.
