Directions

  1. In a large bowl, beat butter until creamy.
  2. Add sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in peel and egg.
  4. Stir together your dry ingredients.
  5. Add to mixture alternately with milk.
  6. Stir in berries.
  7. Drop dough by rounded Tblsp.
  8. onto a greased baking sheet, spacing cookies 2" apart.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 375* for 15 min.
  10. or until brown.
  11. Transfer to racks.
  12. Let cool 5 min.
  13. Sift powdered sugar lightly over tops.
  14. Serve warm or let cool completely.
  15. Store in airtight container up to 3 days.
