Blueberry Grunt

Ingredients
- 1 quart blueberries
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 3⁄4 cup milk
Directions
- Boil blueberries, water and sugar, covered.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, salt & sugar.
- Cut in butter & shortening.
- Add milk to make soft dough.
- Drop by tablespoons into the hot blueberry sauce.
- Cover and cook 15 minutes without uncovering.
