Blackened Grilled Flank Steak

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground red pepper (leave out if you don't want it as spicy)
- 1 (2 lb) flank steaks, trimmed
- cooking spray
Directions
- Combine first 7 ingredients; rub spice mixture over both sides of steak. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours.
- Prepare grill.
- Place steak on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
- Let stand 10 minutes. Cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices.
