Blackberry Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 cup blackberry
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons dark corn syrup
- 1⁄2 cup catsup
- 4 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 3⁄4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
Directions
- Puree all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and simmer for about an hour. Let cool and store in the fridge.
